I refuse to feed them the ridiculously expensive pet store bagged hay. I will buy a few bales from the feed store one of these days.....soon as I remember! I have hay left over from a couple years ago, in the garage/shed, but its kind of gross. They just need a nice timothy/fescue/orchard/something or other.

My TSC sells both alfalfa cubes and alfalfa/timothy cubes. The bunnies enjoy them. They are cheap too. About $10 for 50lbs. Can't beat that. I'm on the same bag I got back in July. I just leave a few in their cage all the time.

Some times some feed stores will let you just sweep up some hay off the floor and either let you just have it, or sell it cheap, rather than buy the prebagged stuff for bunnies.
Go to the horsie part of the feed store. You can also buy oat cubes too, I think.
Some times I buy orchard grass hay if I go to the other feed store thats a bit farther.
tsc is quite a ways from me, like 25 miles or so, so I just go to the one that is 4 miles away. I can only get two bales at a time cuz it has to go in the back of the exploder.
