Eek. Did some reading here and there around the forum and I think I best just stay in here with the other normal OW people. There's a lot of crazies out there.

Lori better not splode at my house....I have enough crap to clean up without having to dodge bits o lori flying at me.

I found one of my bantam cochins sitting in an empty metal hanging feeder this morning. I think it was a protest for a refill.

There's a lot more crazies in here but our individual flavors seem to blend into a nice mix, just enough savory to make us not to fruity

But we're the NORMAL crazies. Those people out there are just plain nuts, bolts and washers looney tunes!

In other news, I've seen posts from two completely separate friends on FB referencing bucket lists today. Should I take it as a sign?

My chicks ship 3/30. That gives me plenty of time to do some splainin'.
Not alot of time to grow them out though, so I know who to sell in May.

Beaner, I won't splode on you. I won't even hack or sniffle on you. I only wipe my nose on my own sleeve.... My mama brought me up right!

Are you sure they weren't in CA or HI, looking for buckets to bail with?

I feel really sorry for those folks, but especially the ones in Japan. A friend from high school has a ship captain for her DH and he was sailing around Japan. They haven't heard from him yet. How scary that would be....

I don't watch tv, it doesn't even get turned on, sometimes not for weeks at a time. So I hadn't seen any of the news or videos. I just watched a couple online. The one of the wave going over what looks like covered farm beds and greenhouses.

In 1964 Anchorage suffered a huge earthquake. 4th ave looked about like some of the pics I've been seeing of Japan. there were Tsunamis all up and down the coast.

All these years later, there are areas where the vegetation is just starting to come back after the salt water changed the the soil. Other areas, the vegetation still won't grow. Not even grass or weeds. The cars, boats and houses are a loss and that is a real shame. The long term effects are going to be devastating and sad.
