DCW rallied the troops for soup feeds on Thursdays. One lucky volunteer gets to bring soup, another brings bread, we all feast and the next week someone else gets to exhibit their culinary talents.

Today is Caribou chili with corn salsa bread.

I don't think there's any chocolate in either of those

ok...how am I supposed to get any moving and packing done when I see a freshly hit kitty in the road...stop to make sure it's dead and put it next to a tree...go to knock on the farm house that I find is abandoned recently...and turn around to hear and see a desperate other kitty who's got a neck wound and is thin and not taken care of?

Ok, so I decide...go to the vet, get her checked out, tell him to call the pound. ...UNTIL he tells me she's pregnant and they put pregnant cats down. OK, so I'd like everyone to meet Hope...but you can't see pics until my dd gets back on sat. with the camera.

Hrmm. I may have to see if I can find pictures of DD14 when she was about 18 months old. Running around in a diaper and with a sparkly clip in her little tiny tuft of hair and a sparkly necklace on. Hrmm, where is that picture. If only to torment the teenager.

DH (who reads what I was up to during the day, he finds it hilarious) saw the minion bit and ruffled DD14 hair with the nearly perfectly done line. She is STILL pouting.

God I love teenagers. If only for the entertainment value.
