Beaner is not mad! I got a kick out of you blowing my cover hahaha.
Now, the receptionist is another story....
OK. Cause your text 'sounded' really cranky.
I did attribute that to collateral damage from the receptionist peeve.
And the fact that your family is worried about you being the crazy chicken
& cat lady....
I feel crappy this morning. The benadryl left me with a hangover, but I still have the sore throat and cough. There are some folks who would love to attribute this to cats and chickens, but I sneeze by head off every time I get to work. At least the benadryl hangover is keeping me from sneezing so far this morning.
Also, Jezebel cut off the circulation in my foot last night, badly, and I'm pretty sure I whimpered some as I was laying there trying not to move my foot.
I lost my sickly buff silkie yesterday. Poor pitiful baby just failed to thrive no matter what I did. But the showgirl setting on eggs had 2 hatch (mille & showgirl) and had at least 2 other eggs in the process of hatching. So I set up a box in a brooder and moved mom and the peeps. Thankfully, the mom didn't mind the transfer, so now I don't have to worry about the other hens trying to steal her peeps and abandoning their nest. Also, hopefully, I kept the contangion from spreading
Nothing like the sound of an adorable peep to make ALL the hens want to be moms
So, last night the coop exemplified the Circle of Life.
