hi kids. took a couple too many tylenol pms. Slept the whole night through. Back is still hurting but not as bad as yesterday morning.

Nella, I know cats are way harder to get to eat, but when our dog was in his last months, we struggled and struggled to get him to eat. We switched to raw diet. He ate readily and willingly for 6 more months before we decided to put him down. I know people do feed cats raw......maybe norman would be interested?

That's so weird...my dd's cat, Trooper likes the strawberry yogurt too.

oh batty...I took 2 Norco's last night and they did NOTHING...I laid in pain and felt like crying much of the night. I just couldn't get my neck comfortable...and wouldn't you know it, by the time I do fall asleep, the alarm goes off and I have to get my daughter ready for school BUT her cat was on top of me and was extra snuggly this morning. I swear I'm a heating pad for him...everytime I wake up he's on my upper half and my Molly beasty dog---who ate my carpet in my van I might add---in addition to all door *licks and the turn signal and gear changing rods---uses my legs for a pillow. sigh....

ha ha...door licks... I meant locks dang it

Did I mention that I was greeted with another mouse in my vehical today? I wasn't expecting it. It nearly gave me a dang heart attack. Dad stayed over last night so I went and woke him up and he was in the process of whacking it with a 2x4 when I left for work.

I will have to try some other things with norman......one of the cat food companies has some really expensive chicken canned thing that is like $1.50 a can and I got one free as a sample that he really liked. Might have to try those too.

We'll see.....its hard to say what all he is eating since I'm not home a lot of the time and the fat little oinker is there hoovering up every extra crumb.

Good morning all.

mapes, you might sleep better/be more comfy without the pets using you as their pillow. I know, sacrilege!, but after trying it for a while we keep all pets out of our bedroom - we sleep a lot more soundly.

Nells, my cats do not like the "chunks" in cat food with gravy. I get the pate', add water and mush it all together and they eat it a lot better that way. Have you tried adding scrambled eggs? Poor Norman. Give him a kiss from me.

I have done a lot of cooking for my pets when they didn't feel well, and will do so again I'm sure.

Yep, when I'm feeding the dogs raw meat the cats are dancin too. Little beggars. The competition things works so well. My old Aussie Dixie has to take pills. That girl can find the smallest pill buried in anything and then spits them out. So I've taken to letting her. Then I call in the Shepherd Buddy. "Buddy look what Dixie doesn't want, you can have it". Buddy on the spot, Dixie snarfs pill. Score.

This drama is played out nightly.

Let me say, I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really HATE people who feel the need to "correct" you when you tell a life story and they INSIST on telling you you didn't experience what you experienced BECAUSE in their know-it-all experience, it doesn't happen.
