10 years ago our local pound charged $75 for cat adoption and $117 for dog adoption...I know it's gone up since then though.
 
Maple was sort of right. He was FREE.....not cause he is geriatric but because he was sponsored by an anonymous donor.

The T can stand for almost anything. Twinkle. Twentytwo (how many toes he has). Terrific. Telekinetic. Trippy.

Actually they have price levels based on age and type.

Kittens or puppies.....$150
Adult......somewhere between 150 and 75
Senior.....50 to 75

Bunnies are 25 for 1 or 40 for two. Includes neuter....good deal on bunnies.
 
Babies say thank you for the Girl Scout Cookies, much nicer than a stinky pirate. Besides, girl scouts are younger, so they'd be more tender, right?

Ok, can you tell I've seen Addams Family one too many times?
