Morning all!

Sir BarfsAlot was barfy again last night. He also thrashed around so much, I think I have a black eye and a fat lip.

So, I am home again today.

Barfing in your new bathroom?!!!

So, I put the new chickies in the outside chickie pen this morning. Its still dark out right now, but it is suppose to get to nearly 89* today, so they will stay warm. And that way, they will not be stinking up their cage inside the house I just cleaned last night.

Picky and Pecky have been moved with Cotton and Sheila into the big girl pen, but they are in an enclosed cage so they can all see each other and not get pecked.

My chicken pen smells like a pig pen, with all the rain we had, and now the drying mud, it stinks!

The students will get sherbet with their lunch today.
We are not used to this kind of heat around here, no AC and stuff either.
And I will be in a kitchen, getting in and out of ovens.

Good thing I have not been having hot flashes for a couple weeks.

And I'm really thinking that Cotton and Sheila are not the ones who's eggs hatched. While they were setting, up to 11 eggs got laid under them. Well, all the chickens were still laying their eggs in that nest box, but I did not collect any of the white small eggs, cuz I didn't know if any were fertile or not. Well, some days some eggs would get broken, and eventually I finally moved Cotton and Sheila and the four remaining eggs, which tow of them hatched. But, these chickies look more like the other chickies I got from my son's house before he moved.
So, maybe some fo the eggs were those eggs, cuz they also lay small white eggs, but bigger than Cotton's, so I just don't know.

But, I also do not know what kind of rooster I have, I just assume of the same variety as the chickies I got from my son's house, cuz they are just the wild chickens that run around this area. So, since the rooster just appeared in my yard one day, he's probably one of those kind too, game chickens, but he's tiny. The hatched chickies do not look like Cotton and Sheila at all, and they do not have feathered feet.

Laree, I could use a bathroom remodel! But no bringing Sir Barfsalot!

Babies want eggs. We had eggs. I wish they'd want something different, but nope, babies get what babies want.

I at least have chocolate for today.

No, he barfed in my hair again. He hasnt gotten to the bathroom-barf stage yet.

CUTE CHICKIES!!!
