If you can afford to fence your yard (if it's not fenced already) do so ASAP, and tell your neighbor to stay out of your yard and off your property. If she does not comply, press charges against her for trespassing. Also, make sure your children understand that what goes on in your house and on your property is NO ONE else's business. Period.

it is illegal in many states to do so. Much doesn't hold up in court cause you can alter them. Some states it only takes notifing them that they are being taped. Illegal wire tapping! Silly but true...check your laws or ask for the field officer to come out everythime he comes out. refuse to talk to him unless he is there!!

Yes, do check out your state laws on recording people without their knowledge. There may be a difference between recording during a physical visit versus a phone conversation.

Or you may be able to simply post signs such as are posted by security/alarm companies that indicate the area is under surveillance.

The officer I'm having to deal with is the Chief of police in my township. I guess I'll need to go to the State Police with any complaints about my neighbor.

Another problem ... I do have a fence, She peers through her windows to see what we are doing in our home. As to the kids... They are aware.

Today I actually did talk to her for a moment. Telling here their is no ordinance or law against having Chickens here. She told me I'm nothing but trouble and She will not live next to a farm, and that she is going in to call the police again ... I told her to go right ahead as I really would like this to go to court!

Please remember I do not allow myself to get flustered, but she was most defiantly Agitated. The same way the officer gets when he deals with me ....lol

Maybe I'm intimidating without knowing it ....lol all 5 foot 115lb of me ....LOL

You know this kind of stuff always happened to my favorite Aunt too.

I just wanted to add... My husband came home for lunch today and we where standing in the back yard ... SO I Know she was listening again... (I'm giggling) .. I told him what happened and then said ... What is she going to do when the horses get here....

(I'm joking) but crap I wish I could have seen her face!
