The best way to decrease your alerts to a manageable level is to go into Preferences and uncheck all alerts related to reactions. There is no reason to be getting alerts for reactions. You can easily check your reactions received by clicking on your user name in the header. Click on either the number next to Reaction score or the link Reactions received to be able to see all of the reactions that you have received.
