Oh a Langshan! I want one that lays those purple hued eggs! Your flock seems so nice about taking turns sharing. Mine was a free for all. Lol!

Thanks for the kind words. This flock is surprisingly courteous as long as mealworms aren't involved, ha.

Our Langshans are from Ideal. They're sweet, quiet, big, green-black chickens. I had no expectations for their eggs, but bonus: they lay gorgeous pink.
