Guiinea coop is full of loose feathers but I have never seen a guinea in a hard molt.

I never saw my molt either. Same with peafowl.

That looks painful. Is she missing a leg?

Hard molts are painful to them. If you look closely you can see her other foot where she is holding it up.

This contest is for adult birds going through their annual molt. Perhaps one day we will do a contest for young poultry growing in their feathers.
