Thank you, my mother and nana used to breed and show them for around 15 years, but breeding gets too expensive and it is hard to find trusting homes anymore... Some of the puppies they sold, ended up coming back to them.
But that was years ago, the ones we kept have all passed now, but one male that she bred, Jake, lost his mother, sister, and father, so it is just him now, and I have become his caretaker! He is twelve and still living! Sadly, he was blind young, but it doesn't bother him any! This photo is not an entry!

I do too, they are usually the most friendly, some of our SN chickens are more friendly than the others because I think they rely on people more.

This is Monro. My DH found him in the middle of a busy street while he was at work (at Monro Muffler). He was so small he fit in the palm of my hand, was infested with fleas and couldn't eat solid food yet. He's 13 years old now and showing almost no signs of old age. He hates cats, loves dogs and is terrified of any of the birds that are bigger than babies lol. His favorite hobbies are stealing food when he thinks nobody is paying attention, licking all the candy on the gingerbread house every year and yelling loudly every morning until someone gets up and feeds him. He also enjoys messing with me any time I'm trying to fold clothes by attacking any neatly folded piles or when I'm working by stealing my tulle, laying on my computer or scratching my denim lol.
