I don't know if I'll enter or not. I like drawing but don't really like entering competitions. I'll see though, still a week to go!

Entry #1, Charcoal on Paper, Mother and Child (my daughter and newborn grandson)

Technique used on this one was to lay down a layer of charcoal, then remove the excess to reveal the drawing.

Entry #2, Watercolour (wet on wet), Horse

Painted with only three or four colours mixed to achieve the desired shade.

Entry #3, Tinted Charcoal on Paper, Chance

Tinted charcoal pencils on a soft yellow paper. I suck at drawing cats. This is the first time I actually managed to draw one that looked like a cat! This was done for my daughter's boyfriend, after his beloved Chance passed away.

Entry #4, Digital, Banana-Nut Muffin, in-class assignment

The most difficult part of drawing this was that it was supposed to be my snack! Instead, I spent the entire class staring at it.

Once the drawing was completed, that muffin was inhaled!
