These are so cool!These are a few of my original designs. Some from photographs, others from my mind. All are simply squares or triangles - all straight lines. It's fun for me to try and work with the squares - I call those Pixel Quilts....viewed from a distance.

Interesting side note..luna moths are born without mouths. They don't eat and there sole purpose is to breed. They can stay in one place for 24 hours in the breeding position. They are so beautiful. No fair would be complete without a showing of handcrafted items! If you quilt, let’s see your handiwork. Show off your knitting or leatherwork skills. Do you enjoy basket weaving or taxidermy? Maybe you have a knack for woodcarving or candle making? It’s time to share what you love to make!
The Handcrafts Contest is a judged photo contest.
Rules:
Prizes
Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of a craft made by you. The picture needs to have been taken by you. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored photo contest. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest. Open to all BYC members. All BYC rules apply - Terms of Service (Rules) Entries will be accepted until August 21st, 2022, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
BYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded the PFM instead.
Place Prize First Place $50 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 1-year PFM ($60 value) for yourself or a friend. Second Place $30 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for yourself or a friend. Third Place $15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for yourself or a friend.

(I've read that series too!)If I don’t finish it before the contest is over- here’s my entry. It’s my crocheted dragon named Kalmar. (from the Winfeather Saga) He’s taken so long to finish and I thought I’d never find the right color of orange to finish the wings- but I got the right color yesterday! Yay!
