i love it!! looks fantastic• Cold Process Soap •Every year, around Christmastime, we make cold process soap to give as gifts to friends and family. My mom was the one that first learned how to make it. She put a lot of time and effort into making the best soap she possibly could. Now, she has taught my sister and me. We enjoy doing it together and being able to bless other families with this skill my mom learned. We put together baskets with other items we learned to make.
This is a batch of five-oil soaps. We like to dye them different colors and practice different patterns each time.
Ingredients:
• Castor Oil
• Coconut Oil
• Olive Oil
• Palm Oil
• Shea Butter
• Lye
• Distilled Water
• Mica (for Dye)

I am assuming cold process soap counts as a hand-craft. If it does not, that's alright.
Thank you so much! What an interesting idea for a quilt! This is a treasure.

so beautiful take a lot of patienceMy final entry is this King size plaid quilt. The plaid fabrics came from plaid shirts I got at GoodWill. I used all different plaids to create as much interest as possible and included some details such as shirt tags, pockets, and buttons.

Detail of the quilting I did using my domestic sewing machine. Notice the Tony Hawk tab on the binding!

wow i am just amazed these are so gorgeousThis quilt is called a Temperature quilt. Each triangle, called a Flying Goose, represents the high temperature for each day of 2023 starting with January 1st in the center spiraling outward to December 31st, 2023. The temperature colors are chosen based on a range of temperatures from low to high. The "key" is on the upper left corner of the quilt. It takes a year to make the quilt and is a fun and interesting way to document the temperatures! It measures 72" square.
