Ended Official BYC 2024 Summer Fair—Meat Bird Show

With that much room, have you ever encountered Oregon disease?
No. They never strayed far. Some would flap their wings a lot but no effect to pectorals seen upon processing. They were in a 8x10 mobile tractor for all but 2 hours a day- tractor was moved twice a day in the pasture from weeks 4+
Fed 12 on/off so from 6 pm until it got dark around 10:30 pm they munched down on the greens.

He's a plump little guy, ain't he? 😍

They're all looking at you, like "feed me," lol. How many did you have in this batch?
I had 51. They were slow to start and I had odd health issues with this batch losing 1/week so I processed the whole batch a week and a half early.

That's a good number. It's too bad you had issues. Even at that rate, you must of still had a good amount, I'm assuming.

Yes, 44 processed. I was happy with them..it’s hust for hub and me, so one chx makes 2-3 meals. I give some away, too. Next year I will do a few CC and try out rangers-maybe Breese

I hear the Breeses are pretty good-tasting birds. (Most French meat birds have better flavor.) 44 isn't bad, especially out of the amount you originally had and your troubles. Personally, I always had more issues when I had larger amounts of meat birds. It was when I did 15 that I had barely any troubles, if any.
