Fluff I think these might need to be moved to the indoor plant show.

I had previously asked if I should enter them there, but seeing as they are not indoors, I was told to enter them here.

I too would think that they'd "fit" better in the indoor plant contest, since they're not your typical pumpkins and cucumbers, but they're not indoor either

Will quick question! Does it grow right on the ground or does it have stem? I was growing some and it did not seem to grow well / it had a long stem then the head of lettuce on top.
A good, edible, loose leaf lettuce should be closer to the ground. If it starts to get tall, it's called bolting. That's then the plant goes to seed, and the lettuce leaves become bitter. :)
Variety also plays a rolling how 'tall' it gets, for example, a Romaine will get taller since it's a heading variety.
