Nice. I actually had someone's pidgeon slam into my garage door a few years ago. It was being chased by a hawk. I used the band number to get in touch with the local organization who was able to contact the owner. He was very glad to get his bird back. Apparently the hawk and scattered all of his birds and he was afraid he wasn't going to see them again.

cool! Thank you for helping the guy out. it happens more than you would think, that someone finds a lost pigeon. the owners would get them back a lot more often if people understood how to contact the owner.
