Thank you! I will give it a shot! I don’t want to use AI images but I’m not sure what else to do. Maybe I can draw somethingYou'd be a first, I think, as it was asked in the former article contest, and to my knowledge, nobody has replied saying we couldn't use AI. I thought, though (in small print beneath the AI), we would have to state it was AI to not be deceptive. Some of those AI pictures are very realistic!
I honestly think, and it's my personal opinion here, that if people started replacing pictures of their chickens or whatever with AI, that could diminish the credibility of the writer. How can someone write about what to do with my chickens if they don't appear to have any?
However, in your case, or many cases perhaps, where it's near impossible to get a shot of what you want to depict, then AI is probably the only answer unless you know someone who has that shot and gives their permission for you to use it. An article with run-on text and no pictures is harder to read and stay interested/focused. Like the old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words."
I would imagine using AI could be on a case by case basis. If that's all you have, I'd just go for it and let's see!
