How good is your broody? How to identify the good, the bad, and the indifferent

How good is your broody? How to identify the good, the bad, and the indifferent

Introduction This article focuses on the broody hen, and only incidentally on the chicks they raise. There are already a lot of good articles and threads on BYC about using broody hens to raise chicks, and links to three such articles can be found at the end of this article. What I want to do...

Hello, I have a question. I entered an article called "Caring for a blind chicken" in the last contest (I think). Now I am completely re-writing that article to be more detailed, less confusing, and with pictures. I'll delete the old version of the article and post the new one soon. Am I allowed to enter this new, completely-rewritten version of the article? I know that one of the rules says you can't enter an article in two contests so I wanted to make sure of this before I enter. Thanks!

I'm sure this has been asked before...the rule says
Only original pictures, taken by you, or someone you know (with their permission) may be used. No screenshots from the web, books, or magazines are allowed.
but does this also apply to photos in the creative commons and/or public domain (even if you credit the site?)

Sorry for the delayed reply.

It's probably been asked before, but the rules for this contest say "Only original pictures, taken by you, or someone you know (with their permission) may be used. No screenshots from the web, books, or magazines are allowed."

For the next contest we are considering allowing the use of photos from Creative Commons, free image sites, and AI-generated photos.

Thanks :)!
