Still chuckling, reminds me of when I was about 3 or 4 years old, was outside with mom as she was pruning roses. She set the little hand pruners down & went to get us some lemonade. I decided the pruners, which in my little mind resembled beauty salon scissors, would be perfect to trim my hair & give me some bangs like "That Girl" (yeah, back in the day, who remembers that show with Marlo Thomas?).

Anyway, mom came back & saw my hair...of course I was all smiles, so proud I cut my own hair, outside, with no mirror, & no comb. She didn't want to ruin my good mood, so with her surprised expression, just said, "Oh, my...."

My reply? Yup, you guessed it, "I can cut your hair, too, mommy...just like mine."

Ah, memories...this site really dredges them up!
