I can not, in all honesty, count this as an entry since it is obviously not a caption, lol, but I felt inspired by the whole nursery rhyme theme we seem to have got going here, so...

Six White Chicks in the Dust Bath Tub

Six white chicks in a round dust bath tub,
Feathers fluffed, they’re ready for a scrub.
In the warm coop, they wiggle and play,
Dust flying as they roll and sway.

Chick One dipped its head, feathers all a-fluff,
Kicking up dust, feeling oh so tough.
Chick Two twirled around, wings spread wide,
Rolling in the earth, with pure chick pride.

Chick Three sang a tune, a chickie lullaby,
While dust floated, like clouds in the sky.
Chick Four giggled and wiggled its toes,
As the dust settled on its tiny little nose.

Chick Five did a dance, a joyful spin,
Tiny beak pecking at the earth within.
And Chick Six was mischievous, full of glee,
Chasing dust stars, as happy as can be.

Mother Black Hen, with eyes so keen,
Watched over her chicks, her feathers pristine.
She clucks and coos, her feathers ruffled, Keeping her chicks safe, never muffled.

The seventh chick, snug under her wing,
Dreams of adventures that summer did bring.
In the safe henhouse, where shadows dance,
They find comfort in this sweet romance.

With feathers as soft as the summer’s heat.
