Feeding hens on a window sill, will encourage sitting on the window sill. And it will encourage a hen to "christen" the window sill.

If you give a hen a window sill, you must then give the hen a waffle. If you give a hen a waffle you must give the hen some syrup to go on the waffle. If you give a hen some syrup, you will have to give the hen some butter to go on the syrup. If you give a hen some butter to go with the syrup, you will see your hand got messy and you have to wash your hand. If you go to wash your hands, you will see you have dishes in the sink to do. As you are doing dishes, the hen on the window sill, wants more waffle.
