Whats up with the chick??

Frostbite blisters on his feet. Scout is soaking in warm Epsom Salt water in this picture. If the situation wasn't so sad, it would have been funny when I put him in there! He'd been peeping loudly in distress for quite awhile after I brought him in, and the more he warmed the louder he cried. That's when I saw the blisters forming. I grabbed the first thing I thought he could fit in to soak his feet without getting him all wet and chilled, and that was the lid off a candle. Just his feet are in the water and the plastic rim keeps him from sinking in and getting soaked. The minute his little feet hit the water, it was like a cartoon character who's butt's on fire sitting in a rain barrel full of water...Ahhhhhhhhh.

He's doing pretty well this morning. Toes are still warm and after his last treatment his blisters finally didn't refill. Hoping he keeps doing this well, but he sure LOVES his time in the hot tub!
