NEW COLORING BOOK CONTEST: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=530154

We're not accepting any more submissions for the contest, but you're still welcome to submit your drawings. If we get enough we'll have another contest and add them to the coloring book!

We've been able to get most of the images to be formatted to print properly. Some were just way too tiny to come out in a print, so hopefully they can be resubmitted in larger formats.

Time for something totally new and totally fun!

As always, this BYC contest is brought to you by our sponsors. Please visit them and thank them for their support of BYC:

We have a LOT of very creative and artistic peeps as members of BYC. We thought we'd have some fun and do a collaborative project where everyone could work together to create something cool. What we came up with is:

The Official BYC Chicken Coloring Book Contest

We want everyone to submit a line art drawing that we can add to a BYC Coloring Book that can be freely downloaded, printed, and colored. The drawing can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. We'll collect all the submissions and then we'll award some free GFMs as prizes!

To qualify for having your drawing entered into the book and the contest:
1) The image needs to be black and white.
2) The image should have clear lines (like most coloring book images)
3) The image can be of anything related to BYC. Fancy or fun drawings of chickens, ducks, coops, etc. Have fun but keep them appropriate for all audiences.
4) You must include the letters "BYC" or "BackYardChickens" into the image. If not in the drawing, then at least close to it. Also include some short text at the top center of the image... maybe a title, something about the drawing, your username, whatever.
5) You give us permission to use and distribute the drawing however we want.
6) Upload the using the BYC Image Upload Tool. Make sure the image is large and good quality. If the image is too big for the upload tool and/or resizes to poor quality during upload, we may ask that you email us a better quality version at the end of the contest.
7) Post the image as a reply to this thread for everyone to see!
8) ADDED: Also email a high resolution version of your image to [email protected]

A great example of an image that will be included into the project is TUDY:

We hope we get a lot of participation in this fun contest. If you know a BYC friend that has some artistic skills, send them a note and make sure they submit something!

This might seem like a silly question but can it be any kind of fowl or animal? or do you want to stick to just chickens?
