The girl is wondering about the costume on the Halloween chicken. That bird will freeze on October 31st when it goes out to trick or treat.
 
This thread has made me feel so much better about my shaggy molty birds. They look TERRIFIC compared to a lot of these poor girls!

I'll enter Kickin' Chicken. He's a frazzle, and dropping feathers like crazy so he looks really bad right now.
