Won't lie, but came in here just to see how bad it can get and maybe feel a little bit better about my rough looking ladies. In the morning I'm going to tell them to cheer up it
could be worse. So glad I'm not a chicken. :)

So very very true.

I forgot about this contest or I should have been taking photos a few days ago to a week ago.

I'll snap some pics to share tomorrow anyway. Our speckled Sussexes are pretty much done(their front halves are feathered again). My worst molter an EE named Pebbles has her pins finally starting to open she's been almost completely missing and shut down for about two weeks now. Poor thing is a mess.

My oegbs and sebright are odd little things that molt usually around July or August at the latest sometimes later.

I will be watching the flock as the weather continues to turn for naked birdies. Lol

Rosie, a year and half old Naked Neck, all other breeds. I didn't get a picture of when she was in full molt. I just saw this contest but she still looks pretty cute or ugly. At the time of this pic she still had her tail feathers in which she lost shortly after. View attachment 1154940

Naked neck, and naked breasts! Lookit that cleavage! LOL
