For the last couple days I haven't seen my mixed hen, Marian, wandering around, and I thought I'd lost her. Well, today I took a good, hard look at the birds milling around, and I realized I have been seeing Marian! She's just been unrecognizable in her new punk get up. So here's Marian, my barnyard mix beauty.

This is Marian when she's fully dressed, hence why I didn't recognize her!

That neck! She reminds me of a gerenuk. It's very striking and pretty, even in the midst of her molt!
