She's a 3 year old sapphire olive egger. She molts much harder than the rest of my flock. My DH thought we had lost a chicken to a predator because of all the feathers in the yard 🤣

What's funnier looking than a Polish chicken? A Polish chicken with no tail!

Breed: white crested black polish
Name: Oreo

Oreo always starts her molt back to front lol

I have no idea how to actually enter this contest so I’m just replying here. I have a barred rock who’s rocking a butt mohawk! My name is Lori Yearwood.

You did it correctly! If ever in doubt (and everyone should anyway), read the contest rules in post #1. ;)

Poor girl! She's losing everything everywhere! I even see some pins on her head!
I've had those moments with some of my hard molters too. 🤣 At least it's a relief when you know they're just molting!

This is my Weslummer. No name. She's a year and a half old. Down to one barely there tail feathers and pin cushion boody but she still likes to sunbathe!

Both these girls look like they're competing for who looks the most like a Manx Rumpy! 🤣

Based on the feathers scattered around the yard my chickens are molting, but it doesn't look like they are, except for maybe my Buff Orpington, it sorta looks like her neck is a little bit deflated, and my GLW has a couple of bald spots, though that might be because she's at the bottom of the pecking order. Either way she looks a bit pathetic.

Post her! You could always take more pictures as she gets worse. :pop
