Okay... true--I've always bought from Amazon, but I get the shipped from/sold by Amazon, new-not-refurbished and have had good enough luck. Fitbits can be buggy, but they stand behind them at least.

So... I survived my goose intervention. Now I just hope the goslings survive it. No external pips yet--only one with no internal shadowing/pipping. That one might be DIS. Hopefully not. I hope they good parents.

Awe how kewl! I can get that "feeling" sometimes with a) natural sounds, b) man made 'musical' sounds or 'sound effects', c) some people's voices when they are talking/singing in a given "vibe"...... It's such a wild sensation.
