She's been clucking for a few days. That's why I said that I thought she was debating on being broody again lol. Thank you. I love her. She is so petite. She isn't much bigger than my Elvis (Porcelain Booted Bantam). It's funny tho because he would come around her and she will square off up against her and he'll back down lol. She's like, "Don't touch me!" and he's like, "Ok dayum woman!"Definitely sounds like a broody to me. Beautiful hen, by the way.
Broody hens will get off of the nest at least once per day to eat, drink, and poop -- they probably bathe, too. She was probably waiting for you to leave the vicinity of the coop so that she could skitter back to a nest.
No, I ordered a NUC from Isabee’s in Fenton. That's awesome! I had four 4X40" raised beds and I always seemed to run out of compost. I do have a Hugelkultur bed going.
Did you trap a bee swarm?

I don’t actually have room for another rooster at this time. I have 22 meat chicks I’m growing out.I have extra roosters if you want one.

It’s my first time with bees and I still have a lot to learn!!
I've been thinking about bees for a while, but I don't have the time right now to be learning about an entirely new critter to care for.No, I ordered a mic from Isabee’s in Fenton.
