He was just messing with me about Tyson.

Most people are buying mine for eggs and using cockerels for meat.

I sell eggs and chicks. I eat a few roosters. And sadly, I apparently feed the local coyote and raccoon population. However, when I catch raccoons, they get fed back to the chickens.

When I told people at the company where I worked that I only ate organic free range poultry and eggs, they didn't like that point of view because their dime came from the likes of Tyson, Roseacre farms and George's turkeys.

I was... until I tasted ice cream again the other day.

I’m thinking no more ice cream for a while after these. I’m gonna get fat. I’m not losing any weight yet. Probably cause of the ice cream. Or maybe the muscle.

Hot dang woman you have a nice tan going so far! I'm jealous! The rain stopped for a bit and the sun tried peeking out to say hi. Now more clouds are moving back in. They better keep on moving because last I check, it wasn't supposed to rain tomorrow. So they need to get going!

It isn't totally irrational. I grew up in an area with lots of cottonmouths. I've never been bitten by any venomous snake in spite of having them around almost daily. On the plus side, their venom isn't extremely deadly.

The ones at reelfoot are historically known as “two-steps” back in the 60’s they had to close down a motel at walnut log due to infestation of cottonmouths.....they have since repopulated the birds of prey that better control the snake population but a couple years ago DH had a catfish on both poles and a cottonmouth trying to get in his kayak!!! Luckily I was pouting several yards away from his location about the over abundance of bug bites and no fish bites
