All Other Breeds . . . my Easter Egger, Roni. She's about a week into her molt.

None of my chickens have started to molt yet, accept for my barred rock rooster, but he's only molting his neck and tail feathers, he's not really ugly so I don't think he'll have a good chance of winning, I guess I'll jus have to wait some more until others molt! Love all of the beautiful molting pics. everyone!

Here's another one of my girls, Sparrow. These were taken last week:





I love how their new feathers resemble paint brushes for the first few days! They always look so pretty and fresh after going through a molt. I always forget that they also go into "seclusion" for the last 2 serious weeks of their molt! Several of my ducks are doing this feather thing right now, too, lol. I will try and get a picture of them...

My hens are molting but so lightly it's not even worth posting.
I had a pigeon who's in mid-molt, but I just got rid of her
