You are absolutely correct & I knew that.
I’m new to all things chicken & got it mixed up.
I was watching videos of a long crowing rooster ~ 5 minutes before I saw this thread.
Tom enjoys frequent crowing all day long, maybe I subconsciously linked the two?

thank you, and they're all lovely personalities. They're just starting to work out their relative places in the hierarchy through a process of occasional hard stares and flared hackles ; almost no head-to-heads or jumping kicks as yet.
