Actually the story is based off me knowing nothing about ducks then.He's pretty. I'm guessing by his name he was an Oopsie Daisy.![]()

I thought all yellow on a duckling would be white when they grew up
and because he was so tiny of the ducklings (different breeds) I had to choose from I just assumed he was a she. He was getting trampled on by the bigger ones and I started to cry, insisting to my SO it was NOT staying on that farm and it was coming home with me. Daisy Duck was the only white female duck I could think off.We tried to change names after we could tell the sex, because my Muscovy, Daffy, ended up being a female but we just couldn't get it to stick.
So I have accepted that I will always have a story to tell as to why I have a drake named Daisy and a hen named Daffy
