Yeah, but I thought they had to be edible. Ding Dong are anything but!

Oh, wait...I just looked back. Only the decorations have to be edible. When I made my Easter bonnet, I used a store bought angel food cake. Um, it was supposed to be taller but the weight of the fondant kinda sorta smushed it flatter!

Had to google Ding Dongs

Yep, those qualify - they are just cupcakes..

You can buy another angel food cake, use a mix, buy cookie dough...or baked cookies...and yes, Ding Dongs are OK..

Draw your coop - easier than baking one and making it 3-D??

For me, there are safety stops along the way...

if I don't buy them, I don't eat them
if I buy them but don't open them, I don't eat them

BUT...
if I buy them and then open them...look out, that thing is as good as gone

For me it's the issue of time. We have so many things on our plate that we're trying to get done before the snow flies.

If it helps with the suspense...I plan on getting power tools for the egg decorating contest.
