Ended Official BYC Mini-Contest - Egg Basket Photo Contest

Okay, here's my actual egg basket with the actual eggs from today. 3 tiny eggs.

All my big girls have stopped laying for the winter, and from 7 pullets, I get 2-4 eggs a day. (Which is why I usually stick them in my pocket.) The basket will surely be utilized in 2021.

Maybe do another contest...creative egg collection? Before I got my basket, I used a new Home Depot bucket lined with straw...not pretty but it worked

Maybe a "what do you collect eggs with" rather than specifically egg baskets. I know a lot of days my pockets or t-shirt are my "basket" lol.

You could make a basket! I'm still using an old Easter basket that I lined with chicken fabric to collect eggs.

I know we are not out & about as much with covid19. I used to get many types of baskets to decorate for just a few dollars at Dollar Stores or thrift stores.

Rules:

1. All entries must be submitted as a reply to this thread.
2. Two pictures per member, one picture per post, please.
3. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
4. Natural eggs only. No painted, decorated, or fake eggs, please.
5. No overly-edited or filtered images—basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
6. Extra consideration for picture quality!
7. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
8. No watermarks, datestamps, text, etc. on the picture.
9. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
10. Open to all BYC members.
11. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
12. Entries will be accepted until December 14th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

I have been scrambling eggs with the shells for my 8 girls.
3 RIR, 3 EE, 1 White Crested Black Polish and 1 Silver Lace Polish.
Today was my lucky day.
Not only did 8: 8 lay today, but my Silver Lace laid her first White Egg!!!
I was so excited. The other Polish lays a very light cream color.
I am very Happy.
Here is my Longaberger Basket filled with eggs. It worked perfectly.
