Ended Official BYC Mini-Contest - Fabulous Feather Photo Contest

Gotta get some pics tomorrow! One of my SLW is molting so I'll see what I can come up with! Also @Kiki and @TwoCrows is there a limit to the amount of these mini-contests I can enter? I don't want to be unfair..
You can enter any open contests as long as you follow the rules for each individual contest.

My first chicken I ever hatched

I have some wild geese visiting. Of course they’re shy but I’m hoping someone will drop a feather or two (I’m on vacation and the chickens did not come with me ;) )
Be forewarned that the Migratory Bird Treaty prohibits the possession of any parts (feathers included) of any of the protected birds. Hunters do have an exception for those legally killed during a hunting season.

While the rule does not seem fair, it was written so that the prosecutors would not have to prove that the procurement of the parts (dropped feathers, etc.) caused any harm to the birds.

I know! I already understand that, and I don’t keep the feathers. I plan to pick them up and put them in some grass if I find any at all. The No-Keeping-Feathers rule has stayed with me ever since I first hear it, and I’m very careful. Thanks for warning me though!
