Not sure if I have entered anything like this before but here we go.

Entry #1 - Big Red's Memorial Stone
We had a beloved hen named Big Red (Rhode Island Red) who passed in 2019. She was a goofy, big ole' gal and I really knew she needed something extra for her grave. I used a reference photo of her and used this stone from the branch and acrylic paints to freehand a portrait memorial stone. I sprayed with polyurethane afterwards to protect it. It's been on her grave ever since, and has yet to fade. It looks absolutely silly, as I am not great at this, but I think it does justice to how cool she was.

Ok! Entry #1 (and probably only entry)
White Nights watercolor + Micron pen, just a cute little barnyard/rolling meadow with some chickens. The coop is slanty but that's because I suck at perspective. Or maybe the farmer isn't super great at carpentry? We'll go with that one. I had fun painting this yesterday and today
