*Not an entry*

When I am stressed and need to relax I like to crochet and do "pointillism" with ink.

I love these!!!! Especially “breathe” and the flowers. 😻😻😻😻😻

OH. Also. I think you’ve graduated from “doodles”. Here.... let me show you the extent of my art skills which are far more “doodle” like. I’ll even make a flower so we can compare. :lau

Hobby #1:

Marble collecting... I got a fairly large bunch of marbles maybe 6 months back. Since then, I acquired several more jars of them. Knowing next to nothing about them, I got several books about them and joined some Facebook groups and a marble forum.

I really like the variety and pretty colors. I have some peewees that are tiny and a very, very large signed marble with a good mix of everything in between. While I am certain I don't have anything very collectable, I am completely hooked.

I am just starting to buy individual marbles for their worth rather than huge jars in hopes of finding a perfect condition rare one. 20201110_181219.jpg Untitled attachment 00042.jpg Untitled attachment 00051.jpg Untitled attachment 00054.jpg Untitled attachment 09734.jpg Untitled attachment 09764.jpg Untitled attachment 09779.jpg

I love when marbles are in jars for decoration! What a great collection!
I hope you keep finding those marbles that you just can't live without!

Hobby #2:

Reading... I am an Avid reader and have been since I was 12 or 13. I got hooked on Stephen King. Before that, I would get library books to sate my mother's insistence but I wouldn't read them... until Night Shift, a collection of short stories by King.

I would read at night before bed but soon found myself reading almost all night, between classes in school and on occasion, while walking home from school. I could read a short book in a day and the long ones within a week or so.

Now, when I read, I often fall asleep so I mostly read at night in bed. I have a Nook and a wish list on Barnes and Nobel that has probably 1000 titles on it, spread across many genres. History, biography, true crime, suspense and horror are the main genres. (Can't pay me to read a romance novel though... just not my thing)

I have a fairly good vocabulary due to reading and have gained quite a bit of knowledge, mostly from the historic books but from some of the others as well.

Most rewarding of my hobbies.

I have many jars that have marbles in them and I do display them. Honestly, I probably have 1000 marbles... maybe I should count them one day. What is pictured is maybe 5% of what I have.

Thank you! I hope I might stumble upon a great one at a great price or in a jar of more common marbles.

I had no idea how much there is to learn about marbles.

We used to play marbles as kids. I absolutely loved my pretty marbles too! I wonder if they're still around somewhere...
