Ended Official BYC Mini-Contest - What’s Your Hobby

All my hobbies seem to include photography and graphic design...which is also my job. lol.

My most time-consuming hobby is my talented hairless dog! I stay super busy taking photos and videos of "Dancing Nathan." For the past 8 years, he's been an amazing ambassador for "Bald is Beautiful Dog Rescue" / I also volunteer as a foster mom and transporter. (He's on TikTok and IG...we had a horrible experience with FB and are no longer there)

I like to build things out of wood. I'm not very good at it, but I'm learning and gradually adding to my tool collection. I started with birdhouses and now I'm getting into simple pieces of furniture.

I have too many "hobbies" but here's one I always make time for: Beekeeping. I currently just have 2 hives by choice, and have been beekeeping since 2013. Any money I do make goes right back into bee supplies. I'm interested in beekeeping for the pollination of my orchard/garden, harvesting honey & wax, and just because I happen to like bees. It's an extremely expensive hobby to get into, but it has some sweet rewards...

Bottled the last 35 pounds of honey today. Finished 10 pounds of Creamed Honey, made around 100 honey suckers and put honey candies into these cute mini mason jars I found this year.

My hobby is gardening. When we moved here there was one tree in the front yard and some weeds. We planted trees and shrubs in the front

There were a bunch of broken pavers and concrete edging behind the shed so I used them to make a path from the patio to the RV gate

Built a xeriscape area for native and desert plants

Baby Sharks?! Sounds scary but interesting!

I haven't been to the ocean since I was a little girl, but I remember running from big waves coming in, collecting seashells, my brother chasing me with live crabs, it was all so much fun! I hope to get back to see the ocean before I am too old to get there!

Baby shark was not scary but thinking mama shark was close by was scary and we all got out as fast as we could move in waist deep water of the Gulf of Mexico
