Why are the last posts taking so long

I need to get started on cooking my salmon but in an hour I gotta take my dogs to get their mandatory rabies shot. I always take em to TSC for that shot.

I always keep a dozen on hand before I give all the rest away. Right now I am getting 3 to 4 eggs a day.

I always keep a dozen on hand before I give all the rest away. Right now I am getting 3 to 4 eggs a day.

My flock is split right now. I have 8 pullets from the last week of August so not old enough and 11 that are old enough to molt and take winter off. I was getting 1-2 eggs a day until about a month ago. Now a big fat zero.
No eggs to share for far longer than that month.

I will remember this egg famine and get spring chicks going forward.

Well I did clean the kennels, shovel the walk and take a shower.
