It so hilarious - any creature that shows up here is automatically added to the ‘pets’ list. If they hang around great if not it’s sad to see them go.

I get that! Same here, Stick bugs, Catapillars, Lady Bugs, Praying Mantises, etc.... when they turn up I am always watching out for them, talking to them, hoping they keep hanging around.

You should have seen the chooks! They didn’t know what to make of her! She was all flared up with wings out and legs all spread out defensively.

I didn’t want her to be injured so I rescued her. I used my manure rake to move her out of the way of the chickens. I checked on her and she hung around for a few days.

Yes! It’s so cool the way they do that. One of my chickens, Gravy (I had a biscuit too) went in to eat one once and she became forever traumatized after it got twice as big and was dancing at her. It was hilarious.

We need you, our amazing members, to start submitting your favorite Pets and Livestock pictures to be potentially chosen for use in our Official Caption Contests and vote for your favorites!
