I hatch extra eggs, and when there's enough in the incubator(meaning its full lol), I give/sell them to friends and family. Occasionally I sell them to others.
Once someone working on the telephone wires came up to our door and asked if we sold eggs( He saw a friend walk out with a dozen lol). He ended up buying a dozen eggs! I guess people really like free range eggs!:clap That was off topic but I thought I'd share....... I find this hilarious!

Thanks for sharing! We get people showing up here wanting eggs too!

I hatch them, have a few people who buy 4 18counts monthly for $20 a month.. I also make homemade dog treats with the extra eggs, the Omega in them is great for dogs coats! Then when I hatch them I raise the chicks till they’re about 2mo and sell for 5to 10 to 20 depending on how big.. They’re a great way for a little extra income!😁

12 eggs! I gotta try this sometime. (Plus I hate the crust on a quiche so this sounds much better.)
When I made my Quiche's I didnt have a clue as to how to make a crust. NOT a baker. I chatted up a waitress friend and she said just use Croissant pastry.

I now see they have full sheets

I suspect these would make excellent pot pie toppers as well... Now I am hungry.

For everyone talking about quiche, if you swap out the milk for heavy cream, I promise you that it’ll come out SO much better. It helps the egg get a fluffier whip when you go to beat them. In my experience, using heavy cream separates an actual quiche from scrambled eggs on a pie crust

If you don’t have heavy cream, you can make some in a pinch by combining 3/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup (half of a conventional US stick) of melted, unsalted butter. This works best with whole milk but will work somewhat well with 2%.
OH YUMM. I make Ghee this would be an excellent use.

We give away to family & friends...also our dogs get raw eggs with meals. This year, I plan to try waterglassing...just have to find the hydrated lime. Not paying Amazon prices...local hardware stores don't always have it in stock. But excited to try it!
try the hardware store. you can get slaked lime in fifty pound bags for about ten bucks

She talks about sources. Very interesting site. covers all sorts of preserving methods.
