I acquired my first flock sometime around February or March of 2018. Every time I think I've seen it all, they go and prove me wrong. I love my flock and BYC has been such a lifesaver in times of stress and uncertainty.

I've had birds my whole life but only about 4 years with chickens. I am loving seeing my original hens get older, sweeter, and smarter.

I first got chickens and ducks of my own when I was 6 years old had them until I was 16 . had none for 4 years . Got married when I was 20 and got chickens and ducks once more , had them ever since so I have been married 45 years this year . My parents had chickens on the farm 6 months after I was borne . I just claim 55 years that's close enough .

My chicken journey is complicated...we got a hen 5 years ago, but just recently got a new flock 1.5 years ago.
