Oh my I just counted and I have 51! Time to sell some! I try to keep it under 30. I have lots of chicks right now.

i have 20 (including the ones im gonna get)

25 hens, mostly Black & Blue Copper Marans, 3 Roosters, 2 Black Copper (one going to a new home soon) & 1 Blue Copper. 6 Americauna Chicks, 4 half grown Silver Laced Wyandottes (pretty sure 2 are Roos so they will be going to new homes), 2 Marans chicks, 1 Buff Orpington chick (bad experience with first Bator hatching :-() and about 20 Marans eggs under 2 broody hens. I only keep Marans Roos so my can breed pure but love the colors of other breeds so explains the different hens. They free range on my 4 acres and get penned up at night. I love my chickens!!!!!!! even if they do poop on my front porch. lol

I had 20.. now i'm back down to 11 cause my dog just broke in to the run and killed off all the babies i had 9/ 8 week olds

brand new to all this and we have 6 living in our dinning room and soon out to there new coop !!!
this was day one... just after we got home... and LOL.. this little girl was so tired she feel sound to sleep just like this..
