Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

Have 7 now just picked up two small Barred rock babies and this number suits me.

We have 250 and about 45 more rare breeds on the way and about 125 in the incubator

I want to get some SLW's, I'm on the fence about it though.

We counted three times. We have either 68, 72, or 80. I'm leaning towards around 70.

On Day 19 as Chicken Parents

(I'm not sure hubby feels attached!), we now have 15 chickens and 2 roosters, one of which does not live with the others! We lost one on Day 16 due to an injury (I think...) and then lack of water.

We have 47. A couple of Black Jersey Giant roosters, 7 Barred Rocks, Black sexlink chicks, 8 Welsummers, Easter Eggers, one Cream Legbar pullet, and a few mutts.

10 are broilers so, will be back down to 39 in 10 weeks

We have 23 LF chickens - 1 Partridge Cochin rooster (2 yr ); 1 Araucana rooster (7 months); 4 Australorp pullets (3 @ 8 weeks, 1 @ 7 months); 4 white leghorn pullets (8 weeks), 3 Rhode Island red pullets (8 weeks); 5 Araucana pullets (4 - 8 weeks and 1 - 7 months); 2 Easter Egger hens (1 yr), 1 Cuckoo Maran hen (2 yr); 1 Black Jersey Giant hen (1 yr); and 1 Wellsummer hen (1 yr).

Clicked the wrong box. I have 20 at the moment, hopefully a few more this weekend...Right now we have a Lakenvelder roo with 4 Naked Neck hens; a Silkie roo with a mixed harem; a BSL roo with a couple Guinea roommates; a Cornish Rock hen; and young pairs of pure Barred Rocks, Australorps, and Seramas...
Hopefully we'll find a few Silkie or Lakenvelder hens this weekend, or a NN roo to balance us out more...
