Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

We have four sex-linked red pullets and one California white hen, all around 22 weeks old. Found the first two eggs this morning -- under their sleeping perch and cracked on the dropping pan. My chicks have become laying hens!

I have five hens right now, soon to have one more. Oh, and a dozen eggs under a broody, but I can't count my chickies yet and they are all going to find new homes anyway. Just wanted to let my broody be a momma.

Are you supposed to count them? I have 9 pearl leghorn adults, with 22 little ones, 10 buff orpington adults with 34 little ones, 6 Americana adults with 14 little ones, 22 guinea adults with 73 little ones, 26 japanese banty adults with 40 little ones with some setting on who knows how many eggs, 4 RIR adults, 6 red star adults, 3 light brahma adults, and 12 Muscovy duck adults with 11 little ones and 2 hens sitting on 28 eggs. Anybody need some chicks? 60 adults and 144 little ones with probably 25 more ducks and 25 banties on the way.

I have 26 lovelies! I'm obsessed! They give me such pleasure just watching them. They are my own personal shicken (yes, shicken!) soap opera! Just need a few more to add some more variety. They're just like potato chips or popcorn...once you have a couple, ya just wanna have more!

Currently at 11. I'll be culling a roo before winter and am considering culling 1 or 2 of the hens.

I have 4 lovely ladies: 1 Red Sexlink, 1 Road Island Red, 2 Black Sexlinks. They are so fun!!

I just have 2 little fluffy-butts, Nutmeg the Red Star and Pepper the Black Star. We are not supposed to have chickens in my area but we love them so much! My neighbors have been surprisingly enthusiastic about them too!

I want to add 2-3 bantams next spring but my wife isn't as enthusiastic about getting more. We'll see, I've got several months to work on her
