OMG. My chickens would think that they'd died & gone to heaven in that setup! Gorgeous.This is the 2nd coop built last year. Not a lot of snow, I know, but let me tell ya, we've had 40-50mph wind, so it is bone chilling cold!
My coop is insulated & with about 6 inches of cushy wood chip bedding, & just the body heat of the flock, the coop stayed nice, their waterers didn't even freeze! That doesn’t sound so bad!! What do you use to cover your run?That is the new record holder. 41" fell in about 16 hours. We were stranded on the hill for 3 days before the plows came by to do the roads.
