Hi yall from north texas. Didnt expect to enter this contest after a mild warm winter. But last week, after All-Time Ever record cold temperatures, and rolling blackouts for 3 days straight (inside house temp dropped to 36 degrees at one point), got a few pictures. Not many pics though, because only a few chickens, out of a flock of 150, dared to venture our of their covered coop and run. Been 10 years or so since any significant snowfall here, so none of my chickens have ever seen more thsn a dusting of snow. Here is entry #1. Layla the olive egger. Perched on a concrete hen statue, comtemplating the end of her world as she knew it.
